  Using a visualisation diagram as part of the planning process can be very effective for the production team, as well as the client, as it offers a clear visual of the way you want the final print product to look.  For example, to create a simple visualisation diagram, there is both advantages and disadvantages, but to make it clear to understand it doesn't require much techincal skills or training.
